The state Gaming league is divided into 3 categories.
X-League - IRL - SCL
- X-League is for age groups U9 thru U12. These are small sided games with U9 and U10 playing 7v7 and U11 and U12 playing 9v9. X-league is set up by geographic regions. We are in the North Region. Included in the North Region is Davis, Weber, Morgan, Box Elder and Cache county. Half your games will be played on your home field and the other half at your opponents home field. You can expect to play games on Saturdays and a game scheduled during the week off and on. There is a Fall season and a Spring Season with 8 to 12 games in each. In the summer teams will play in tournaments along the Wasatch Front. Training days, times and locations are determined by the coach with team input. Tournaments are also decided this way. During the Winter, most teams will play indoor Soccer and usually have time off to play other sports. This will also be determined on a team by team basis. You can expect to spend between $250 and $450 during the course of the year.
IRL and SCL are for U13 and older teams.
SCL is for teams that qualify for Premiere or D1 and D2 Divisions. They play games in all the regions depending on where the other teams in their bracket are from. With half the games at your home field and the other half at your opponents home field. Teams can be from Utah County north to Cache county.
IRL is for teams below D2. We are in the North Region which includes Davis, Weber, Morgan, Box Elder and Cache County.

Welcome to The SWAT Player Development Series, a program built to develop players’ abilities through a smaller version of the game. The Player Development Series events tap into the age specific characteristics of U7 & U8 players to exponentially accelerate the players development.
All of this combined will develop confidence, initiative, improved skill with the ball, intelligence with and without the ball, coordination with movement, resiliency and problem solving. Teams that Experience the SWAT Development Series will be ahead of those that stick with the old tradition of too many players on the field.
So what does this look like & how will it work?
Weekly Game Day
Game Days give players an opportunity to play unfamiliar competition and experiment with concepts that you have been working on in Team Training via varying player formats - 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 over the course of the year.
We are shooting for our Game Days to be Wednesday, August Through October and March through May, but the final determination will be based on the number of teams. The locations will be customized to the geographic locations of the teams that register. Our goal is to not have you drive more than 20 -30 minutes to enjoy a 1.5 hour Game Day once a week.
PlayOn! Series - 8 events over the year
Eight times a year we will gather with other compettiive organizations, teams & coaches in a community event. Games will be played 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4. Players will rotate to play different opponents, much like the weekly Game days but with kids from all over.
As a bonus, since parents will be on hand - we’ll have educational programs or Q&As with experts in youth player development to make this a win-win for everyone in the family.
To Play SWAT Soccer, you must attend Try Outs. Click the link below to get the details about Try-Outs.
