Welcome to SWAT Comp Soccer FAQ!
The first two questions we always get asked is how much does it cost and is there a lot of travel involved?
Cost - The Registration fee chart can be found here: Fall 2025/Spring 2026 Fee Chart
You will also need to purchase a SWAT uniform. This cost is in addition to the registration fees, however, you will use the same uniform every year so you won’t need to purchase it again until you outgrow it or need to replace it for whatever reason. The Basic uniform kit starts at $105.00. Uniforms
Yes, there will be some travel involved!
-U7 and U8 play in the Academy League.-U9-U12 play in the X-League

What age group am I in?

How do I get on a team?
Come to Tryouts! Comp teams are formed through tryouts in May for the following seasonal year (Fall/Spring). If you would like to try out, you will need to register. Tryout registration is FREE, but required. We do this so we know how many kids to expect in each age group, and also so we have a way to send out information to everyone about your upcoming tryouts, registration, uniforms and/or anything else you may need to know for the upcoming year!
Tryouts for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 season will be held May 20th, 22nd, 27th and 28th. You only need to come to your specific age group’s try outs, which will be on one of these days. To register for tryouts and find your specific day, time and location, check out the Tryouts page!
What happens at tryouts?
Tryouts is really like a training session/practice, but with a lot more players! The coaches from your age group will work together and run you through some drills and probably some form of a scrimmage. When it’s done, you’ll be dismissed to go home...and wait. Coaches try very hard to reach out to everyone that attended tryouts within 24-48 hours. Sometimes it may take just a little bit longer, so you may need to hang tight a little bit.
So… i made a team, now what do i do?
First off, CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to SWAT Soccer! Now it’s time to get to work! You will be sent an email with your coach and team info. It will also include registration information specific to your team and instructions to order your uniform (if needed).
There will be about a 2 week period for you to get registered and get your uniform ordered. You will probably be hearing from your coach during this time and even start training as a team.
Games will start in August when school starts.
I wasn’t selected to a team, do i have any other options?
Yes! SWAT Soccer also has a Recreation program, which we think is pretty awesome, that you can still join! A lot of players that don’t make a Comp team join SWAT Recreation, work really hard to improve their skills, then come back and make a team the following year! If this is something you would like to do, head on over to the SWAT Recreation website and get registered! We would love to have you!
